Course Overview

STAMFORD product ranges from HC6 to P80 and AvK ranges from DSG 62-125 and DIG 110-156 are offered with optional or standard regreasable bearings. The Bearings 1 course covers antifriction bearing theory, maintenance procedures focusing on regreasing, service procedures focusing on bearing removal and installation, and general troubleshooting. Ball bearing and roller bearing types are covered, excluding special configurations for DIG 142 machines which are covered in Bearings 2.

Who should attend

Cummins Authorised Distributor and Dealer Service Technicians, Project and Application Engineers and potential Trainers. Delegates wishing to book onto this course must have already completed CGT course - Fundamentals of AC Generators prior to taking part in Bearings 1.

Course Objectives

Upon successful completion, participants will be able to identify and realize the differing product offerings. Understanding re-greasable bearing design, operation and functionality lending the participant the necessary skills to diagnose issues and best maintain these important components.
