Basic (2004-14Q) and Intermediate (2004-15Q) FT-10 Networks

Course Overview

This course will introduce participants to FT-10 Networks at Basic and Intermediate levels, subject to successful completion of any designated pre-requisite training as detailed on Cummins Learning Centre (CLC).

Who should attend

Cummins Power Generation Authorised Distributor and Dealer PowerGen Service Technicians, Project and Application Engineers and potential Trainers.

Course Objectives

Upon successful completion, participants will be able to identify, install, commission and troubleshoot simple FT-10 Networks using associated equipment.

Course Content

Theory sessions covering all aspects of the FT-10 Networks equipment;
Practical activities using Simulators and actual equipment for self installed and intermediate Networks;
Use of Echelon Lonworks software for design and commissioning of FT-10 Networks and iWatch 100 remote monitoring system.
Practical tests to ensure participants fully demonstrate learning has taken place.
A final written test to confirm that participants can demonstrate the use of equipment literature and associated tooling.

Pre-requisites

CORE subjects and Basic Networks on CLC are pre-requisites for this training course. ALL participants must have a working copy of Lonworks 3.2 Turbo software and the UT-10 Adaptor kit for this course. If you do not have the software you will not be allowed to attend.
