X-Series Training (2008-15Q)

Course Overview

This course will introduce participants to the X Series (1.3, 1.7 and 2.5) India Gensets on successful completion of CORE subject training undertaken on Cummins Learning Centre (CLC).

Who should attend

Cummins Power Generation Authorised Distributor and Dealer PowerGen Service Technicians, Project and Application Engineers and potential Trainers.

Course Objectives

Upon successful completion, participants will be able to identify, setup, repair and troubleshoot the X Range India Gensets including the Engine and will have basic knowledge of associated Controllers (PCC0301 MFM,PCC1301, PS0500 and PC1.X)

Course Content

Theory sessions covering all aspects of the Gensets
Practical activities using Simulators and actual equipment for repair, programming and troubleshooting purposes.
Practical tests to ensure participants fully demonstrate learning has taken place.
A final written test to confirm that participants can demonstrate the use of equipment literature and associated tooling.

Pre-requisites

CORE subjects (CLC and CVC) are pre-requisites for this training course.
