QSG12 CM2350 G110 – Tier 4 Final/Stage IV (2014-46Q)
This course will provide participants with an understanding of the complete QSG12 engine and the Heavy-Duty Tier 4 Final/Stage IV aftertreatment system. Topics include: mechanical and electrical sub-systems, exhaust aftertreatment, Diesel Particulate Filter, Diesel Oxidization Catalyst and Selective Catalytic Reduction. Components of the class include electronic features and parameters, INSITE diagnostic communication and programming and written and hands-on proficiency testing. Upon successful completion of this course the participants will also have the ability to confidently converse with operators / owners, which will enable them to carry out efficient fault finding of the Engine management and Aftertreatment systems.
Students who have completed Cummins engine training in the past and are looking to update their knowledge. A good knowledge of engine electrical systems is desirable to gain the most from this course. There is a significant practical element to this course and the student will be expected to fully participate.
