GTEC Automatic Transfer Switch (2012-10Q)

Course Overview

This course will introduce participants to the GTEC Automatic Transfer Switch on successful completion of CORE subject training undertaken on Cummins Learning Centre (CLC).

Who should attend

Cummins Power Generation Authorised Distributor and Dealer PowerGen Service Technicians, Project and Application Engineers and potential Trainers.

Course Objectives

Upon successful completion, participants will be able to identify, setup, and troubleshoot the GTEC 20 – 2000amp GTEC Transfer Switch using simulation, actual and diagnostic tools and equipment.

Course Content

Theory sessions covering all aspects of the GTEC Transfer Switch.
Practical activities using Simulators and actual equipment for programming and troubleshooting purposes, using associated subject literature.
Practical tests to ensure participants fully demonstrate learning has taken place.
A final written test to confirm that participants can demonstrate the use of equipment literature and associated tooling.

Pre-requisites

The CORE curriculum on CLC and CVC should be completed before the course.
