IMO TIII HUG AFTERTREATMENT SYSTEM

Course Overview

This course will provide participants with an understanding and knowledge of the IMO TIII HUG Aftertreatment System.

Who should attend

Cummins Service Technicians, Distributor DFSE, Commissioning Engineers, Customer Technicians / Service Personnel.

Students who have completed the Qualifications as stated in the pre-requisites.

Course Objectives

To become familiar with the design, function and operation of the HUG Aftertreatment IOM TIII system including the integration with engine and C-Command system. Installation and maintenance requirements, fault finding and diagnostic techniques and the commissioning process and the checklist.

Course Content

IMO TIII and emission control areas (ECA) requirements.

System layout, component location and function.

Integration of HUG system to engine and C-Command panel.

System operation including start-up and shut down processes.

Testing of system functions using control panel functions with password access.

Removal, testing and refit of VNI reactant injector and MCE bricks.

Fault finding and diagnosis of system using fault code viewing and wiring diagram.

Overview of the maintenance manual.
Overview of installation MAB.

Overview of commissioning checklist.

Pre-requisites

4275 Hug Aftertreatment System online training course available on QSOL.

Qualification:

Demonstration and Practical Hands-on elements are included in this training.

This course Includes hands-on proficiency testing (Qualification). To allow the student to demonstrate their learning and knowledge of this product.

Practical Assessments will only be conducted in the classroom, RILT (Remote Instructor Lead Training) will NOT provide a full Qualification.

Knowledge of the C-Command Classic system useful but not essential.

Software and Hardware Requirements:

Laptop or suitable device for setup of SD card in the Datalogger unit.
