B6.7 CM2350 B136C – EU Stage V / EPA Tier 4 Final Qualification (2018-33Q)

Course Overview

This course will provide participants with an understanding of the complete B6.7 Stage V Construction engine and the Mid-Range Stage V aftertreatment system. Topics include: mechanical and electrical sub-systems, exhaust aftertreatment, Diesel Particulate Filter, Diesel Oxidization Catalyst and Selective Catalytic Reduction. Components of the class include electronic features and parameters, use of INSITE diagnostic tool and written and hands-on proficiency testing. Upon successful completion of this course the participants will also have the ability to confidently converse with operators / owners, which will enable them to carry out efficient fault finding of the Engine management and Aftertreatment systems.

Who should attend

Students who have completed Cummins engine training in the past and are looking to update their knowledge. A good knowledge of engine electrical systems is desirable to gain the most from this course. There is a significant practical element to this course and the student will be expected to fully participate.
